Dressing a House in a Hail Storm

Kids,
Don't try this at home...!

Before you cut the template
and hang it on the wall...

check the local Weather update!

hee-hee! Good times.

I was trying to cut a template for the Manatee Mural.
When Tom and I hung it
I had enough time to get it half-way done. Right after I was Fifteen foot up in the air a
Hail storm came in and destroyed it.
A good lesson.

Low Earth Orbiting...

Hey Gang,

Back once again with another installment of "How the Heck does He Do That!!" ( -it's sweeping the country. ) I had a guy come in today that was leading tours on the island that just couldn't believe that 'you could paint like that'. I was happy to hear that, until I later learned that he just couldn't understand my painting technique. Either way ( can't take it back, Mister. ) I am calling that a compliment. I'll take whatever I can. Hahaha. Just a little funny observation.

Anyways, Noblettes, I am back at Tidelands once again. After a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation I felt it was time to come back. I left the mural in a good way when I left. So coming back was a piece of cake. All I am left with now to do on the Mural is to add the detail, paint the remaining animals, and tweak out the highlights!!

Come by after Jan. 2nd because I am officially starting the 'Manatee Habitat Educational Mural' on the front of the Tideland's building. It will contain a large mural by me along with a fiberglassed based sculpture of a life-sized Manatee and a 2' x 3' metal sign detailing the Habitat of this beloved creature. It should take me two weeks to do. I am starting to draw it next week, on the 17th, but I will start the painting process on Jan. 2nd. I will get the drawing done as soon as possible so I can start back working on the Maritime Mural.

Well, gangsters, you know where I be. My cell-phone does not work out here at all. So if you want to contact me just call the main-line at Tideland's. You can still visit. I work from 8:00 a.m. to about 8:00-9:00 at night. So come see me, I like visitors, and I can point you in right direction to see some wonderful sights. Come by anytime before Christmas and see the wonderful light display the DNR has put up all over the island. It is really pretty.

When I go home on Dec. 21st I am going to use that time to finish my Days-Inn sketches and to finish my brochures (I will post them online. There are some virtual fliers out there now somewhere) And good news today. I was just invited to be in the 6th annual - Tideland's Nature Center Art Sell Benefit " Art Inspired by Nature", where art is sold and a small proceed is donated to the 4-H program. Dawn is waving my entrance fee and she wants to use this opportunity to advertise Noblelements!!! If I don't have any Framed pieces She is just going to set up an Advertisement Display to showcase my Artwork and to get clients who want murals. It will be a good second step into the Hearts and Minds of Golden Isle Visitors and residence! I look forward to it. It will be held Sunday - Feb. 17th, 2008, at10:00am - 4:00pm at the Jekyll Island Conference Center. I will post directions and any more information about it in the upcoming weeks. Come by and support your favorite artists!!! We welcome your support.

Well, Guys, I am going back to Paint. would like to respond more but Work calls. I will post as much as possible in the next two weeks but look towards the weekend before Christmas for some really good updates. Have a good one!

Sincerely,
Buddy P.I.

p.s. I will bring my USB cord for my camera next (...and my belt !@!#$% - rackin-frackin' !!!!!!! ) and post some cool pictures. See you then.
